Scaling up and down with demand is a key selling point of cloud computing. Windows Azure makes it easy to issue scale-up or scale-down commands, however deciding when to do so can be a daunting and complicated task. This session will cover in-depth walkthrough of a third-party product AzureWatch that automates the process of auto-scaling, monitoring and performance reporting of Windows Azure applications.
Igor Papirov is founder of Paraleap Technologies and a primary architect of AzureWatch auto-scaling service for Windows Azure. Igor has been developing and architecting solutions based on Microsoft stack since 1994 and is an MCSD since 1996, and a passionate promote of all things cloud, since more recent times.
